Peregrine Falcons are the fastest birds of prey, catching their food in flight by diving at speeds of up to 240 miles per hour. They are resident in the UK throughout the year, mainly in the uplands of the north and west. Frink’s peregrine falcon is at rest, perched on a golden stone, making a striking contrast against the dark ink used for the bird’s plumage.
