These garden pruning shears have specially designed blades to chop through tough shrubbery. Extra-long handles allow for maximum leverage, and the thinner blade is serrated for extra grip.

Originally designed for industrial use, these were commissioned by the Post Office to cut through mail bag ties – but they’re also ideal scissors for flower arranging and Ikebana. Hot forged and handmade by craftsmen with traditional techniques, and featuring chrome-plated blades to extend life and resist corrosion.

Manufactured and made in Sheffield by William Whiteley & Sons Whiteley’s was founded in 1760 and is now the last industrial scissor-maker in the UK, and the oldest scissorsmiths in the Western world. Whiteley’s is a leading producer of industrial and professional scissors and shears, developing cutting solutions to match the latest materials in automotive, aerospace and many other industries.

Each scissor produced by the company is still hand-made, assembled and tested by craftsmen, using the skill and techniques honed and handed down over centuries.

UK Delivery:
Delivery is free for orders over £100. For orders under £100 (excluding prints) you can choose from the following delivery options:

International Delivery:
Standard European delivery is £20.00 (7-14 working days).
Standard rest of the World delivery is £30.00 (12-24 working days).

Prints Delivery:
Prints – UK £20.00 (3-5 working days), Europe £50.00 (7-14 working days), rest of the World £70.00 (12-24 working days).

Click and Collect

Click and Collect is available from our Weston Shop. Please allow 2-4 working days from placement of order and await notification that goods are ready, before travelling to collect. No YSP ticket is required to visit the Weston building. Collection times are as follows:

Tuesday through to Sunday - 10am to 4pm only.

Orders will be kept for 14 days from notification that they are available to collect. After this time, orders will be returned and refunded automatically.
