Working from her garden studio in Leicester, Sarah Kirby is a linocut printmaker. During 2023 and 2024, Kirby has been visiting YSP through the seasons to document her favourite walking routes and landmarks. From this, she has created a new body of work inspired by the unique features of Yorkshire Sculpture Park; A Printmaker's Landscape is on display in our YSP Centre centre until 23 Feb.

Born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975) is one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Studying at Leeds School of Art, Hepworth had an influential career spanning over fifty years. At the time, British sculpture and modernism was dominated by men.
