YSP Shop Promotions

For all promotions in the YSP Shop and Restaurant the following terms and conditions apply: one discount per transaction. One discount per customer. Cannot be used with any other offer. No photocopies permitted. Vouchers must be used within stated expiry time. Vouchers are not for resale. YSP is not responsible for loss or damage of vouchers. YSP has the right to amend the terms and conditions or terminate the promotion.

YSP Shops Gift Card

Our YSP Shops gift cards are only useable on shop products. They cannot be used on YSP admissions tickets or in the catering outlets. Vouchers must be used within stated expiry time. Vouchers are not for resale. YSP is not responsible for loss or damage of vouchers. 

Acceptance of Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between yourself and YSP will take place when we have received payment and dispatched the goods you have ordered. We may choose not to accept your order; if an item is out of stock, if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or if we identify a product or pricing error. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. YSP reserves the right to change prices or to withdraw an item from sale without prior notice.

YSP attempts to be as accurate as possible when describing products on the website and to ensure that product photography is clear and accurate; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Acknowledgement of Order

When you have completed your order you will be sent an email confirmation. It will state what the products are, the cost (including VAT) and delivery and invoice details. If your order has been unsuccessful you will be made aware of the reason for this and possible explanations. If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement, we will also contact you by email advising you of this.

Our Contract

A legally binding contract between you and YSP will be formed when we send you the email confirming that we have dispatched the product(s) to you. This email represents our legal acceptance of the offer you made to purchase the product(s) when you completed your order. If we confirm to you that not all the products you have ordered have been dispatched, those product(s) that have not been dispatched will not form part of our contract with you. In the event of any change e.g. in price or expected delivery date between completion of your order and contract formation, we shall inform you and you shall at that point have the right to either (i) accept such change (in which case your email reply will represent a new offer which we will accept upon notification of dispatch) or (ii) reject such change (in which case your email reply will represent a withdrawal of your order, or the relevant part of your order as the case may be).

Payment

All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, your order will not be accepted and YSP will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Duties and Taxes

For all countries (excluding US) - you will be liable for all duties or levies payable at any foreign port as a result of delivery of goods outside of the United Kingdom. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies.

For US - all orders shipped into the US are now shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). This means YSP Shops assumes full responsibility and costs for delivering goods to a buyer's specified US location, including all customs duties, taxes, and transportation costs, with no additional charges for the buyer upon arrival. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus VAT, duties and delivery charges as set out in the payment section of the website.

Sale of Kitchen Knives

Under the Offensive Weapons Act it is an offence to sell knives or any other product that may be perceived as an offensive weapon to persons under the age of 18. Customers must be over 18 and must not order these items for persons under 18. By placing your order for any of these products, You confirm that you have reached the required age. Any 18+ product (knives, alcohol, etc) will be sent with an age verification delivery option, whereby the recipient must present a valid form of ID to prove their age. If age cannot be proven the item will be returned to YSP Shops.

Applicable law

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and the application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
