This brand new YSP limited edition has been printed by Coriander Studio in London and has been created from an original painted panel on wooden board by Dakota Mace. The print has been made specially for the exhibition Hold to This Earth: Works by Contemporary Indigenous North American Artists from Tia Collection held at Yorkshire Sculpture Park  – .

This limited edition has been created by skilled technicians using both lithographic and carborundum processes to capture the texture and detail within the original artwork; Kéyah Yinílniih (The Land Remembers), adding subtle textural qualities to create a surface similar to that of the original painted panel.   

Carborundum printmaking uses silicon carbide powder mixed with a binder to create textured areas on a printing plate. These areas hold extra ink, resulting in rich, velvety textures and bold, expressive marks. Known for deep tonal variations and heavy ink application, carborundum prints resemble paintings, featuring intense colours, tactile surfaces, and dynamic imagery.

The edition is hand signed and editioned by Dakota Mace and offers a unique opportunity to own a work by one the world’s most exciting contemporary artists.
