Mike Scown has a studio at Persistence Works, Yorkshire Artspace, and produces tableware, explores slip casting and sculptural techniques, and offers individual and group tuition in Raku firing, throwing, and ceramic materials.

Mike also built the two gas kilns for Yorkshire Artspace’s Kiln Yard, a facility that allows access to reduction firing through supported or independent firings.
