Robert Indiana: Sculpture 1958-2018

A major figure in American art since the 1960s, Robert Indiana (1928-2018) developed a highly original body of work that explores identity, personal history, the American Dream, and the power of abstraction and language. Robert Indiana: Sculpture 1958–2018 traces the development of the artist’s practice over a six-decade career, with a focus on his sculpture.

Published to accompany Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s major exhibition, this catalogue features incisive texts by Matthew Armstrong, Flavia Frigeri and YSP Director Clare Lilley, with extensive in-situ photography by Jonty Wilde.
